Commission for Celtic Man, done as a gift for GrayWolf/Illahie, of their two chars (wolf and Irish Elk) and Duncan, Gray's pet ferret...I made the knotwork and spirals orange and green to symbolize the colors of the Irish flag (since the location is in Newgrange, Ireland), and the kilt in the colors of Celtic Man's family tartan (or as close as I could approximate it, anyway). The flowers and jewelry are also symbolic of the chars. :) (BTW, this is a better version of the pic than the previous ones seen in my other galleries, as Gray kindly fixed the line for me that was caused by my scanning it in two pieces.) :)

The ferret is the best part of this piece, in my opinion ;) Your attention to detail never fails to astound me, Swan! The clothing, the the knotwork, and the backgrounds. All absolutely wonderful!

I've always loved this picture, so I'm glad to see it was posted here on SA as well. I adore Celtic culture. And the little ferret with the stem in his mouth is too cute. :3
