I’m falling even faster then I thought I could
Desperately clinging to everything I thought once mattered
Everything turned out to be a lie
Everything but you

I’m afraid to look away, but at the same time
Frightened to keep hoping that we’ll always be together
If only I wasn’t so naive as to love you without question

All my scars are warm memories of better days
