Final Fantasy X-3 - Chapter 1

A tall girl with light green hair and deep red eyes wearing the Besaid School uniform walked across the beach, she sighed and faced the waters, "Why was it left so late?"
Two young girls one with white hair and ONE orange streak and pinks eyes, the other with blue and brown hair and light blue eyes also wearing the besaid school uniform walked around water, splashing the water at each other. One of the laughed but the other just stayed straight faced.
The girl with the green hair sat on the sand and shook her head, “I hate her so much! How could she leave it this late?” a silent tear slipped down her cheek as she stood up and began to walk back to the village. The other girls noticed the other girl and followed her to the village. "I wonder who she is..." One asked the other. The girl ran over the bridges in the waterfalls to the little village which recently had been built in she tripped over, "OW!" that was when she saw what or rather who she had tripped over, she had tripped over her cousin's best friend who, she had a crush on, she blushed and ran to the hut where her mother was asleep. The other girls ran to their huts and went to see their mothers. "Maria! Where did you think you were going?" Paine's angry voice sounded in the hut which the girl with green hair who appeared to be called Maria had entered, "You didn't let me give you the first charm, or the bracelet for that matter." A slightly older Paine put a silver bracelet around Maria's wrist, on it was the charm of a silver sword with a skull on it. "It was my first sphere." Paine said.
"Tnays, Where have you been i've been waiting to give you your first charm and the bracelet too." Yuna gave Tnays (the girl with the blue and brown hair) a silver and gold bracelet and put it around her wrist, it had a charm on it, which had two guns on.
"Thank you, mom!" Tnays said hugging her mom.
"Lilly, can you please not run off again?!" Rikku sounded slightly angry, "You didn't let me give you your charm bracelet or first charm!"
"Fine, Give me the charm and bracelet then!!!" Lilly shouted at her mum, Rikku gave her the bracelet and Lilly put it on. It had a charm with two daggers on. Lilly was the girl with the White hair and ONE orange streak in it and pink eyes.
"Mom," Maria said looking at the bracelet, "Explain to me again why I have to go on this mission?"
"Joshua, you know, you're cousin's best friend has been reported missing."
Tnays and Lilly met each other out side their huts and then their mums came out, Paine came out and so did the Maria. They came up to the others and Paine introduced Maria to the others. Maria nodded at the others and grinned, she tapped Lilly on the shoulder, "IT!"
Lilly just stood there. Tnays laughed, "Lilly isn't the playing sort but I am!" she said explaining why Lilly just stood there.
Maria put her face in front of Lilly’s “Boo!”
Nothing.
“Hello? Are you alive? Hello?” Maria waved a hand in front of Lilly’s face.
Nothing.
Maria put her hands on her hips, “Fine.”
"Look I really don't care what you do or what you say but just don't annoy me as I get angry easily and I hit people!" Lilly said, folding her arms.
Paine shifted an eyebrow, “Way to go, Rikku.”
Maria turned to her mother who nodded, “I’m not stopping you and it would be good exercise.” was all Paine said.
So, Maria and Lilly began to fight.
Lilly launched herself at Maria, hitting Maria's side and bruising it. Lilly then grabbed her and threw her towards a hut, she hit it hard but the hut still stood up right. Maria stood up and flicked some dust off of her shoulder, "That all you got?" Maria kicked Lilly in the side sending her to the ground, weird thing was, she didn't get up.
Lilly just laid there, everyone wondered if she was just playing or was she not faking it? Tnays said "Are you ok Lilly?"
Maria bent down, "Ooops..."
Lilly suddenly shouted "BOO!" in Maria's face which scared he so much it sent her flying backwards! Lilly got up and dusted her self off, "Now where were we?!" she asked sarcastically.
Maria stood up and poked her tongue out, "You big meanie!"
Paine shook her head and glared at Rikku, "Now, where have I heard that before?"
"Hehehe" Rikku laughed.
Lilly went over to Maria and said sorry and she glared at her mum. "Why did you teach her that stupid line?!" she said.
Rikku waved off her daughter’s comment, “You all have to walk up to the beach and NO RUNNING AWAY FROM BATTLES LIKE YOU USED TO! YOU HAVE TO DO THIS AND YOU HAVE TO GET TO THAT BEACH IN TEN MINUTES, WE’LL FOLLOW BEHIND! If you’re not there, you will miss your boat. If you get stuck on how to use your charms, ask Maria.”
Tnays, Lilly and Maria got to the waterfalls and they then got engaged in a battle. In this battle Maria taught the others how to use their charms.
Maria held her bracelet in front of her and touched the charm, it glowed and the sword became bigger until it was big enough to use, her clothes turned to a pink version of her mother's old clothes, this was now Maria's default charm, she held the sword and swiped at the enemy which ran away, "Chicken."
"WOW!" Tnays said. another fiend appeared. Tnays held her bracelet in front of her and touched it, it glowed and the guns become bigger until the were the right size to use, her clothes turned into a black and red version of her mum's old clothes, this was now Tnays' default charm, she held her guns and did trigger happy and killed the monster. "Very cool!"
Lilly saw another fiend and she held her bracelet in front of her and touched it, it glowed and the daggers became big enough to use, her clothes turned into a blue version of her mum's clothes, this was now her default charm. She ran at the fiend and struck it with her daggers and in ran away, "Coward!"
“Doubt it, it probably saw your face and was all, hey if I’m gonna get killed maybe by a model like Tnays but her? Nuh uh! And then it ran away.” Maria laughed. There weren’t all that many battles on the way to the beach but, still enough for Maria to make fun of Lilly.
"HEY, it's not my fault i'm an albino!!!! Besides the one you were fighting ran away to you know!!!" Lilly shouted at Maria, just to get her own back but it didn't work.
“No, mine was just plain scared Albi! Ha!” Of course, like Rikku, Maria had a nasty name up her sleeve, was Rikku giving her private lessons?
Lilly ran off on here own and was sitting by the water tears slowly running down her face, when the others got down to the beach. Lilly stood up and just stared out and the horizon, she kept on thinking 'Why is Maria being mean to me? It's not my fault I'm an albino! And there is no need for her to call me 'Albi'! That is what i find really hurtful and spiteful!' Lilly went on to the boat and the others followed her on.
Later that evening, Tnays was in the cabin with Lilly, “Lilly?” Tnays said, Lilly looked up, “You know that Maria doesn’t mean to be nasty, I asked mom, she said if you even have Paine as a friend, you have to learn how to fend for yourself, that is what she was doing.”
Lilly didn't respond, she just laid there on her bed staring at the ceiling tears still running down her cheeks.
Later that evening, Maria was sitting on deck, staring up at the stars, “Could this be my story? Like mama said?” she asked no one in particular but, one of the girls overheard.
Lilly suddenly appeared from the upstairs deck and sat next to Maria. "I'm sorry about running off earlier, I just don't like being called 'Albi' it hurts my feelings a lot!! That is the only thing that gets me crying nothing else!" Lilly said to Maria not really caring if she heard or not.
Maria nodded but said nothing, she stood up and walked to the edge of the deck and stared at the water below, "Where could he be?"
"Where could who be?" Lilly asked Maria, she stood up and walked over to her.
"No one." Maria said quickly, a little too quickly because this gave her hiccups. These hiccups made her trip over and plunge into the water.
Lilly got a rope and lowered it into the water, Maria caught hold of it and Lilly pulled her up back onto the deck.
Maria shivered, “That’s my shower taken care of!” She limped back into the cabin for she had hit her ankle hard on the rail when she fell into the water.
Lilly made Maria a hot chocolate and she took it to her. "Here you go. Something to keep you warm!" Lilly said as she handed the hot chocolate to Maria.
“Do you really want to know who I’m talking about?” Maria asked, she didn’t really need to ask because she knew the answer already, “Hey, where’s Tnays?”
"Um... I think she is in my cabin. And yes I do want to know who you are talking about!" Lilly said, "I'll just go check if Tnays is in my cabin because that is where I last left her!"
“So where do you normally leave her? In the ocean?” Maria asked sarcastically. "Hehehe," Lilly laughed sarcastically, "I usually leave her in my cabin as she is my cousin so we stick together usually! So I'm going to go find her now!" Lilly said as she walked off towards her cabin.
Maria laughed slightly and let her mind wonder, she soon fell asleep. When Lilly got to her cabin she found that it had been broken into and her cousin wasn't there! "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Lilly screamed at the top of her voice she woke up Maria who came running to see what had happened.
Maria looked around at the cabin and then climbed out of the now broken window, she traced the tracks to the water, so, she stood on the rail and dived into the water. Lilly hated water, but she still jumped in to help Maria look.
After a few moments, Maria emerged from the water and took a deep breath and dove back down. She could see well, what looked something like a whale, but, she knew it wasn’t.
"What is that?!" Lilly asked Maria, Lilly was struggling to keep above the water so Maria had to help her.
"I don't know, a boss fiend like mom said?" Maria shook her head, "That means that there is a charm near by!"
Lilly gained her strength and was able to swim herself see followed Maria under water to go and find the new charm.
"Look!" Maria pointed to a limp figure floating by the fiend, "It's Tnays! She's unconscious but, we can still save her!"
Lilly and Maria swam towards Tnays, but the fiend swam in front of her and they went into a fight.
“Like taking candy from a baby.” Maria held her sword in the air and summoned Firaga steel blade, she then ran up to the fiend and struck it, weakening it slightly, “Do you think thunder would work?”
Lilly held her daggers across her body and summoned her Thunderga dagger swipe, she then ran up to the monster and struck it, the weird thing was the attack didn't work. "What I thought thunder attacks were supposed to hurt water fiends!!!" Lilly said to Maria, still in shock that her attack didn't work.
"So did I..." Maria trailed off when she saw something silver on the sand, she swam down and picked it up, it was a charm.
Lilly also saw a shiny thing just poking out of the sand she swam down and picked it up, it was also a charm, it was the black mage charm.
Maria fixed her Black Mage charm to her bracelet and touched it, she became engulfed in light and a staff came falling into the water, it landed in her hands and Maria was now the Black Mage. She powered up, "Stay out of the water." Thunder hit the fiend and it dissolved into pyre flies, Maria changed back to her default charm and swam over to Tnays, she used a phoenix down and woke her up, in her hand was the black mage charm, "I found this." Tnays showed the others her black mage charm.
Lilly fixed her charm to her bracelet too and they all then swam up to the surface of the water and then got back on the ship.
"So," Maria threw a towel at each of her companions and got out one for herself, "What were you doing down there anyway?"
"Well I fell asleep in your cabin Lilly and then this mysterious arm broke through the window and grabbed me and took me underwater, I hit the water so hard I fell unconscious and then you two came and then you revived me and now we are here!" Tnays replied to Maria.
"Yes, but how did you get your charm?" Maria asked.
"I found the charm stuck to the fiend’s arm so i grabbed it and then I fell unconscious!" Tnays replied.
Maria began to dry her hair, "Any one know where we're headed?"
"Um... We are headed to Luca? I think." Lilly said drying her hair also.
"Luca, huh, isn't that where Vidina is?" Maria was referring to her best friend, who was Wakka and Lulu's first born.
"Yeah lets go see him!" Tnays said, as he was also her best friend.
Maria grinned, "Oui naymmo fyhd du ghuf fru E fyc dymgehk ypuid, Lilly?" This meant 'You really want to know who I was talking about, Lilly?'
Lilly nodded, "Oayr!" Which meant 'Yeah!'
"Famm, So luiceh'c pacd vneaht, Joshua, E cundy ryja y dedlro lnicr uh res..."
This meant 'Well, My cousin's best friend, Joshua, I sorta have a titchy crush on him...'
"Rara, oui naymmo ryja y lnicr uh oui luiceh'c pacd vneaht! Hela!" Lilly said approvingly.
This meant 'Hehe, you really have a crush on you cousin's best friend! Nice!'
"What are you guys talking about?" Tnays went pale, "You're not talking about me are you?"
"You never taught her?" Maria was now talking to Lilly again.
"Um... Yeah I never taught her. I did try on several occasions but she just got all confused with what I was trying to teach her! So in the end I gave up trying to teach her!" Lilly said.
"How could she get confused?!" Maria was really freaking out about this.
"I don't know! She just couldn't pronounce the words so she just gave up trying and she said that she was confused." Lilly said, also wondering how Tnays could get confused.
Maria stood on deck, “We’re about to dock!”
Maria spotted Vidina standing there, she stood on the rail and waved at him, "Vidina!" she jumped onto the platform and hugged her friend.
