I LOVE making new critters! ^-^
here's one of my newest ideas....
It came when I was thinking about Bats.. and bat wings.. and sugar gliders. Then I started to work with that.. and I wanted to have a kind of weasleish body.. then, procupine quills!
So, a point.. the quills down the back are all attatched to muscle, meaning they can be raised or lowered, depending on mood, well, endangerment. Though the quills on the tail are stiff and well.. more porcupine like, and with a snap of the tail, can be flung at a preditor.
They CAN'T fly, they only glide. So they live mostly in treetops in more temerate areas (gliding on warm drafts)
They rarely stay on the ground for very long, as they walk rather slow and kinda waddle.
Because they rely on warm updrafts, they hibernate during the winter.
They're omivorus, so they eat small reptiles, mamales, fish, and birds, as well as fruits, seeds, and vegitables.
I like these little critters ^^ (yes, 2 and a half feet tall)

Cool colours you chose, like the way you drew the critter from different angels to to get views of all sides. Nice
