I started this back in feb. got stumped on the hair. suggestions on how to fix it? In general comments on how to make this guy look better would be appreciated. I wanted to make him look like he really had fur.

I'm not very good at this, but you might try to make the lighter spots more "rough".

deathraven Says:

I agree with lilanth on that one. The whole thing is realy good though

Stormy Says:

Oooh! You got the 12 year old stamp of approval! The daughter said nice!

Kitsuken Says:

I think some really fine hatching similar to what you've got at the sides of the arms going in the direction of the fur in some more solid areas (like across the leg) might help. Otherwise just drawing in the fur, but that takes ages and doesn't work too well wth inked outline

That's a work in progress?

I studied the fur of a cat the other day, and I thought I would share my observations, but I see you've already captured it... ;)

OrangeWolff Says:

I cant wait to see the end of it!!!!

Seraphim Moonshadow Says:

The hair looks....silky compared to the rest of the body. It's not that, though. I think it's because it looks too light weight for the body. Particularily on the shoulder. But I love it!
