OMG MY COMPUTER WORKS!!!!! It liiiiiiiiiiiiives!!! My brother and I put in a new 80 gig harddrive and now I can finally work in a moderately decent size. Maybe not as big as Balaa but eh... My computer's name shall now be changed from 'you fucker' to 'Greased Lightning' because that's what I seem to find myself singing as it rapidly opens documents for me
Anyhow, so I promised a few people that the next time I did a pic of Fernum I'd say a little bit about him, so here it goes:
Fernum was born to a rather auspicious demon family. His father owned an enormous piece of territory in the heated bowels of the earth known as the kingdom of Jehanum. When his father disappeared, probably in a fight with another demon (for there were always squabbles amongst their ranks), it was Fernum, his only child, who inherited it.
Fernum was a rambunctious, head-strong youth who ignored his duties as master of his domain, and instead sought amusement after amusement, sometimes abducting people and lions from above as playthings, which he quickly grew bored with; sometimes picking fights with other creatures of the occult.
As the years wore on (and a demon such as he can live a good many) he began to draw more attention to himself and his large kingdom. Time after time, he managed to escape mishap after mishap with his fellow bretheren, for although Fernum was irresponsible and brash, he had inherited his father's fearlessness, and his family's enormous powers. In his demonic form, he was a fury, a force to be reckoned with. A plot unfolded to depose the lord and usurp his kingdom by means of a trick.
And it was fairly simple. Fernum was hot-headed and frequently bit off more than he could chew. All it took was alerting him to the presence of a bigger demon, starting a fight between them, and sitting back to watch. The outcome was an obvious one. Even the Lord of Jehanum could not best the creature from the deep set upon him. He barely escaped with his life, fleeing to the land above where he wandered, embittered by his defeat, a changed demon.
Now he is cold and calculating, defeating his enemies with cunning as well as strength. He vows to take back the land rightfully his, but is content to bide his time until the perfect opportunity presents itself...
So there you have it. A very brief overview. Fer's had a trist or two, one of the most lengthy was with Scully's character, Lauren. But he didn't have the personality to maintain the relationship. When things got hairy, other than rising to meet the challange, he just gave up. She'll find him again when he's an adult, but how that turns out, I'm not entirely certain.
Er.. right, so the picture is fairly self explainatory, I suppose. Fernum's opened up a gate to the outside world (which just so happens to be a desert) so he can take a brief peak at the stars above. I wanted to really work on it, but I got all excited and just wanted to get it done, so I only spent a couple of hours on it; not nearly so long as I should have.
