"Nagelfar" is the name of a ship in Nordic mythology that is made from the untrimmed finger and toe nails of the dead. Upon it's completion, evil forces will set it upon the sea and esure the destruction of the world. You will bring the world closer to its end if you die with untrimmed nails. There is also a Swedish word "nagelfara" which means "examine thoroughly".
Wow that is really cool. I really enjoy the little color that is put in the picture. Also all the little detail in it looks great. I like the detail on the wings because I would have never thought of that. The weapon to me seems a little out of place but it works. Great job.
NAGELFAR IS SOMEHOW RELATED THROUGH HEL TO NIDDGOGGHRE (or however you spell that one) which is norse i think,,,,like southeast Asia!? Oh I thought it was a dragon related to Nidhogg oh well.

And there's a kickass Swedish black metal band that formed in 1992 named Naglfar, currently consisting of Jens Rydén, Kristoffer Olivius (aka. Wrathyr), Marcus Norman (aka. Vargher), Andreas Nilsson, Morgan Lie, and Mattias Grahn.
