rawr! rawr, i say! heh heh heh...
uh, yeah... so this is on scratchboard, which is what it sounds like. it's thin cardboard that's all black, and instead of putting stuff onto the paper, you use a stylus and scratch color off. the thing started off as a black square & became this. ::nods::

this is a really old piece from my beginning art class back when i was a dorky little high school freshman (ah, to be 14 again...) i wish i had created this image of the spiffy tiger, but the assignment was to use an existing picture and transfer it onto scratchboard. *mutters* well, at least it's not traced...

tracing is EEEEEVVVVVVIIIILLL!!! and a disgrace to the original artist...
::walks away muttering::

::runs back:: BTW, that thing in the bottom-right hand corner was my old art "signature", which was mandatory for all the pieces in that art class. it's the Chinese character for "Lau", my last name. ::nods::

well, tracing int always evil. .__. think about it. if a person considers yer art good enough to trace, then thats a compliment, right?? its just when those people go and claim it as their own that its evil. .___. and tracing can come in quite handy, especially when like trying to create an animation... speaking of which... *mutters to self and walks off*
