Typography Grid

This is a piece that basically came together after doing a series of grids. We picked a font on our computers, then picked a letter from that font. The letter is then placed in such a way that it creates a pattern, using large and small grid blocks. I used the lower-case 'y' from the Harry Potter font. I then overlayed a grid over the letter grid, and made a black and white checkerboard pattern. Believe me, this took a LOT of time. This was also for my Ideas as Visual Images class.
