Kalico sits on a cloud, content, holding a paintbrush. The paintbrush, though normal in appearance, had just created the most beautiful sights in the world. How dreary the world had seemed before she touched it up with blue and purple clouds! The phoenix of the sky looks over all Kalico has done, and nods in approval. Kalico had succeeded in making the heavens much more beautiful than the earth.

Been a little bit since I last drew Kalico, my calico cat-dragon character, so I decided to draw the cutest picture I could of her. It kind-of evolved into a bit more than that, but I'm pretty pleased with the results. I love how I did the background and I like how the phoenix came out and especially Kalico's eye

I think I showed my love for clouds, skies, dragons, and phoenixes well enough. :)
