Was playing around in OpenCanvas, here's the result. Really I just wanted to practice drawing a character from behind, but I think I'll turn this into a finished piece. I wanted a more "manga" feel for her hair but it didn't work out that way. I could always add in more detail. Anyhow, I'd love to get some critique on what I could improve here before finishing this one off. ^^ Suggestions for a background are good too (I'm awful at backgrounds)!

mmm...well, for starters I must say that the view from behind got wuite nice, about the hair, it seems like you started to draw it putting a lot of detail on it and then you decided to leave it on a different way, it would look better if you put some more details like in the face.

The body proportions are correct and the pose is cute.I can't tell what kind of bg can you put on it, but a city would look nice.
I like the pic a lot ^^ and well, its been a while since I gave a full critic on a pic, I hope you don't mind me being so direct.

I do like the detail in the hair...I was gonna say more but Asakura Lan pretty much said it all..

Very nice work on the angle. I love the flow of her hair (especially around the face) and the cloth. Perhaps a colourful night-time futuristic cityscape would fit well, with city lights and starry skies and all that sparkly stuff? For some reason I'm thinkin pale green buildings. Don't ask.
