This is (now) a slightly dated picture, as I have since discovered the wonders of Prismacolors and felt-tipped art pens.

OK, so now the un-named Doyle dragoness has stopped the tears of Drakkor---half-dragon, half-raptor---in a hurry. She seems to have piqued his interest, all right

Hmm . . . does this picture REALLY warrant an explanation? I mean, you have heard of the concept of lovers chasing each other around on a pristine, secluded beach? This is why places like Tahiti exist, yes?

Anyhow, the real-life Drakkor, Frank, ia a dolphin/sea lion trainer at a famous theme park in Switzerland. From all I've learned, the place would surely fall apart without his know-how, expertise, resilience and hands-on experience!
<a href='http://www.furnation.com/drakkor/journal/Medical-check.jpg'>Doctor Drakkor</a>

Rather disappointed with the way the dragoness came out. Her body looks rather weird. The dolphins don't look right, either. Oh well, one to learn from . . . I am mostly happy about the way Drakkor came out, along with the ebbing volcanic eruption in the background.

If someone comes up with a good name for the dragoness, I'll do a request just give me the name, the father, and the clan, and I'll do the rest. If you're concerned about sexism, females are the dominant gender in my dragons. Only one out of five males become fathers, and so that is how they earn the honor of being part of the offspring's name.

Example: Jak'edrac sel'Gury (the main dragon character from my forthcoming novel sequence, a male gold dragon) literally means 'Jakk, son of Drac, from clan Gury.'
