A.K.A.---'Wake Me Up When the Picture's Done!'
For Anneliese Stehwien
(See Part One, Part Two for more details)
I got too involved on Elftown. My art and writing productivity slowed down considerably. Behind the scenes, there was a lot of drama and infighting. I was caught up in it rather passionately . . . never again! This is why it took me so long to finish this picture, which I started in August 2004 but did not finish until January 2005. I also have an adult form of ADHD, which explains why I work on 5 or 6 pictures at a time, and is not to be underestimated or downplayed.) I forced myself to finish this picture during an estrangement from Elftown, which only very recently I've started to warm up to, again. As a result, its quality is rather uneven.
Anyway, enough of that.
My character, Pauly the Anthro-Dragon, took a baton lickin', then a real lickin', as can be seen in Part One and Part Two.
Would he want to steal Calico Tiger's Town Guard Hat and Town Guard Baton again? Despite the inherent risks of being air-tackled and thwapped by a sexy catwoman less than half his weight, who has a definite inclination for mooning and slobbering when slightly provoked?
You bet your tushie he would! ^__~
'Calico Tiger' is (c) Annelise Stehwien
'Pauly the anthro-dragon', art, is (c) Paul J. Doyle.
(!!RANT!!) Pauly the Anthro-Dragon is not a humanoid form of Jak'edrac sel'Gury, the primary dragon character from my forthcoming novel sequence---although this strictly-for-laughs 'Pauly the Anthro-Dragon' character is a template for a genetically flawed, more 'serious' genetically engineered race that will appear during a dark time in the last couple novels of the sequence. (/!!RANT!!)
