A.K.A.---'Is There Life After 'Cats'?'
For Anneliese Stehwien better known everywhere as Calico Tiger, or 'Cali'.
What is it like, being the retired Town Guard Captain of Elftown? Sometimes I wonder just how much crap Cali has to put up with, though I've dealt with some of those troublemakers myself in my time on Elftown. It must require a lot of perseverance, as all Elftown official positions are appointed on a strictly volunteer basis.
I have been fortunate enough to befriend Cali. She is a fun person and has a unique sense of humor. She's not just this boogeywoman who goes around Elftown taking down unauthorized pictures and banning people. I also needed an excuse to break out of my graphite pencil-only mold. So I summoned up the courage to do this little project, which I'd been meaning to do for a while, as a way of saying 'thank you', and 'welcome back'. (An unfortunate incident caused her to temporarily leave Elftown.)
I really needed to get Pauly the anthro-Dragon off of that gigantic block of Swiss Cheese, and into something new. So here, my little scalysona (as opposed to 'fursona' or persona ) decides to---GASP::horror of horrors!---steal Cali's Town Guard hat, and her silver-toned baton.
Oh, Pauly thinks he's going to leave Cali in the dust. After all, the anthro-dragon is big, exceedingly strong, mischievous, and kinda sexy in a Scaly kind of way. He also thinks that Calico Tiger finds him somewhat desirable and cute, so she's going to let him get away, right?
Wrong!
Calico Tiger is (c) Annelise Stehwhien. Go sheck out her gallery, will ya?
Pauly the Anthro-Dragon is (c) to me, Paul J. Doyle.
Considering this was the first time I ever used Prismacolors and non-ballpoint pens, I think I made out OK with this picture, all the obvious glitches notwithstanding.
