Inoue Kaori, Head Priestess

Of the Inoue temple. Joy. She inherited her mother's and grandmother's and great grandmother's job as head priestess of the family temple. Ironically it isn't very far from the Higurashi temple and their house. The previous picture I posted of Kaori and Kagome when they were little kids is just before Kaori gets sick and lapses into a coma for ten or so years, then wakes up after Kaede dies(come on, she's an old lady) and she recieves her soul. Kaori's parents were killed in a car accident when she was very young and lived with her grandparents until she was admitted to the hospital. When she wakes up, her grandparents have died and she has no immediate family in Japan because they've all moved to the 'States so she seeks out and finds Kagome to live with her. When she discovers her family's temple is still around, she goes there to take care of it. When Inuyasha comes through the Well of Bones to get Kagome, he meets Kaori and hears her story from her and Kagome, and immediately gets suspiscious. He tells Kagome of his suspiscions and she becomes suspiscious as well...they jump into the well with her as an expiriment because as far as they know, only they can go through the portal at the bottom....so when Kaori arrives through the portal with them, well...I'll let you decide for yourself what happens.

Oh, yes, when Kaori gets a shard of the Shikon no Tama, she gets vision in her right eye, a kind of vision that lets her "see through" people. See their intentions, if they're good or evil, et cetera... Her eye also turns a pinkish shade because of the shard... Well, I'm hungry so I'm gonna go eat something. Ja matta ne.
