Ah... The butterflies are finally back.

Hell, I wish, I love butterflies.

This image means a lot to me, so please, don't flame me for it. :d

Here we have SerenityX standing on the top of a hill, at sunset with all of her "little butterfly friends" I'm actually really proud of this, I tried to get the most elegant and soft feeling that I could. I think I did it pretty sucessfully because...
1.) I took hardy any tint to shade and highlight to bring out the fullness of her pale skin,
2.) The kimono consists of light colors to make it seem softer,
3.) Her facial expression,
4.) The sunset in order to make her skin seem brighter. (Or at least I think so. :d

Here's the deeper meaning if you have looked at it and thought... I think it's easier to find it in the colored version rather than the inked. :d

The red and green flowers are supposed to symbolize love. Why? Because green and red are opposites, and just like with two people being together, each one brings out what is distinct and special about the other. Thus bringing the butterflies... The butterfly on SerenityX's shoulder represents the person she loves, and the one who loves her back. The butterfly was attracted by the flower... Meaning that people who love each other find the things that are distinct and special about each other are just as important as the things they share.

Also... With that said, the simplest things can bring two people together. :d

Why is that stupid thing the meaning?!

It's not stupid, it's just what I find to be true, and if you don't like it, don't care. :d

You're sketching and coloring technique just keeps on getting better and better! Keep up the great work, you're doing a great job The only thing I would say to play with a bit more would be the hair. Pick up your pencil with each stroke, each angle being a different stroke and it will look more natural. That's a preference and practice thing though, you don't have to do it
