her name's Avis (bird in latin) and she uses feathers like darts (weapon! woo!)

their race is called alcyote (al-see-oat-tay)

she comes from a race of elf type people who are strongly connected with animals... each person has a different animal... some are connected closely to one species or have an affinity with a large number ( Avis's being all birds in general *duuhhh*) to be connected with a large variety is rare..

her tattoo on her leg is her family symbol (all "families" have one tattooed somewhere)

their names are all latin x3

*note* the arm that's covered by a sleeve is a wooden arm (the race tends not to use metal)
