Gryphon Art Exchange entry, drawn in June 2004. I should have colored this much sooner, but with a tablet things are so much easier on my wrist.
N'ermore Blackmane is a raven/panther gryphon with bat-like or dragon-like wings. I'd decided to mix the bat and dragon together, hence the scales along the wing shoulders. Leopards are typically stocky and relatively short limbed cats, but in this case I guess the legs do look even shorter than they should be. Oh well. Over 6 months later, I figure, I should be able to draw better than this now.

Sweet, I admit I have a love for corvid gryphons! (considering I have two in my own gallery)
This is a nice pose, I really don't see different poses like this too often (granted, I don't really go around -looking- for different poses, either, so..)
The red markings are nifty, stand out really well. I especially like the red-tipped black beak. Mru!
