A metallic Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin.... random brainfart. I felt like drawing something shiney. Trying to beat a bad bit of art-block.

Wow! That is very lovely! It certainly does look metallic. :) For some reason, it reminds me a little of Ecco. lol. Anyway, I love dolphins! You do a terrific job on drawing them!

shiney = winner, usually

wow! I absolutely adore this! plays of light, especially underwater where reflection and light are such powerful factors, have always fascinated me! I must say I envy you for this piece, very powerfully executed and it looks like a simple and yet simultaneously complex piece :).

You'd think it'd sink rather quickly.
As cliche as this is sounding "great work as usual" I think you need to make a tutorial on how to color this kind of thing because to be honest I have no idea to even start a coloring job like this, I knew people who took graphic art classes in college and the first thing they teach is how to do the chrome effect and they been trying it for years under the supervision of teachers and they still cant get it.
Great work there Jaxxy.

I agree with
on the tutorial bit. :) I'd love to see how you did this step by step. Or if not this image, at least another one. Doesn't hurt, you know? More chrome to combat the dreaded artists block. ;)

the eye makes it look kind of alien or futuristic.
