My entry for the Mythical Creatures Contest, I was a little rushed... As I found out late about the contest but it sounded like too much fun to pass up! And the prize money would be really, really fantastic for us. ;___;
Hopefully I did everything right... This is my first time entering on Deviantart. >_<;
I wanted to do something more elegant because I find Medusa's story to be quite sad. Unfortunately due to time the original concept I had got scrapped. Hope you like regardless!
The back image was meant to resemble Greek Pottery, symbols are two snakes... For Medusa's sisters/fellow Gorgons, Athena's "All Seeing Eye" and the Trident of Poseidon.
