also he HAS teeth. I just, wasn't sure how to get them in on that open mouth shot.
but he has teeth.
STAg1 is made of a bunch of different metals. Mostly copper, iron, and steel. Some brass is mixed in. He has different things in his head for his artificial intelligence and his eye is the most advanced part of his body. His boiler chest is the second most advanced part.
STAg1 used to be a mechanical stag on a carousel in a large park. then the carousel broke down beyond repair. Before the machine was torn apart and scrapped, one of the park's mechanics managed to save the stag machine from the carousel. The man then set to remaking the stag into a large automaton who's purpose would be to guide and play with small children, keep them from getting lost in the park's large gardens. But the park went bankrupt and the inventor died before STAg1 could get his outer chassi/shell. It's been decades since the park fell into complete disrepair and it's become a place of part salvage and a home to stray dogs and homeless people. STAg1 still lives in and wanders about this park, keeping his creator's secrets with him. He hides when people enter the park, because his creator told him that until STAg1 was finished, no one was allowed to see him or know about his existence.
His boiler is powered by a source that gains power from the movement of his legs. Similar to certain car hybrids now, the source gains power and charges itself. He only needs to make one round around the park and he has a full charge to last him several days. The source is only powerful enough to boil the water in his chest cavity to create the steam that maneuvers the hydraulics and other things that help him move and work. The "muscles" on his arms are made of a highly elastic rubber material and work much like real muscles. He never got fully fitted with all of the muscles he needed on his arms so he's very limited with what those can lift and do. His legs are locomotive pistons and release steam whenever he stops moving. The circular cap on his chest is where, when he runs low on water, he may put more in. Steam is also regularly released from his nose to prevent his boiler from exploding. His "antlers" are just simple pipe pieces. The only reason he has them is because his creator felt he looked off without antlers. His real antlers would have been part of his outer chassi/shell. The only parts of his body to have the chassi/shell are his "tail", his "nose" and his feet.
