This is Tom Trovatelli, a character from my first novel called Heart of Metal (available on Amazon). I wrote the book in 15 days and spent 4 months editing it (I had 15 days to sign up for Nanowrimo - it was the first time I'd heard of it and only discovered it half way through november) but I did finish on time and publish the result. I had a load of fun with the writing in it, being somewhat poetic/lyrical and sometimes metaphorical. It makes the book harder to read for some people without weird imaginations but I love it and I wouldn't change it.
