"I kinda wanted to make a character that represented me and what I'm like, and this is what I came up with. He is, obviously, physically nothing like me, but it's more of what he represents than what he is.
A wise old soul, yet inexperienced in the ways of life in youth. As a result, he's ignorant but willing to learn. His name is Sanuye, which is Miwok for "red cloud at sundown". He's wearing earth colors, which are my favorite tones of colors.
He may appear to be wise or know what he's doing but he's just as lost as every other person. He feels that he gets a lot of praise for things he doesn't think he should be praised for - he's modest in this way but doesn't know how to take a compliment. Sometimes, he just stops, slows down, and takes in the beauty in the world around him even though others may be rushing through life.
Also I just realized that this is like the first non-fandom thing I've drawn
