"I gotta draw something serious once in a while. Art's a good way to get frustrations out.
Anyways, yeah. Cave Story. I drew this to commemorate the release of Cave Story 3D, even though there isn't very much... celebrating going on in the picture. If you're seeing this image, you're being spoiler'd, so I'll go ahead and explain this.
There's a part of the game after you beat a boss where the entire chamber floods. You have no way to breathe so you have to sit there and wait until your air runs out and you drown. The screen goes black with the message "Losing consciousness...", you hear a few noises, and then wake up finding you have Curly Brace's air bubble around you.
That thing she's holding is her air tank."
