Celebrating that I passed the exam from invertebrates yesterday, I painted this picture of the little-known water bears (the Tardigrada phylum). I love them, they are so cute, they just deserve to be painted! ^^ I painted two species of them.
Oh, and the background isn't so blurry because I am lazy, but 1) to lead your eyes exactly to the little creatures and 2) also because the Tardigrada are only 0,5 mm small and it would look weird if the background would be sharp and detailed.
And the thing that looks like a tree branch is definitely NOT a tree branch, but some very artifical thingy that has been put into the image just for the little water bears to stand on ^^

Water bears!! I barely remember them from the days of AP Biology and going to the aquarium...
The effects you managed with the distance vs. focus worked out really well. :)
