Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Then somebody bends
Unexpectedly
Just a little change
Small to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the Beast
Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
And ever just as sure
As the sun will rise
Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast
I know I am going to get alot of flock for this and a few people are going to have my left hand for breakfast. But there are two reasons why I did this piece. 1.) I couldn't resist. and 2.) I am a major risk taker at times. Anyways, This is Aerith Gainsborough (My favorite of all FF7 characters) & Cloud Strife in the Ballroom of the Beast's Castle from Beauty And The Beast.
Disclaimer: I do not own Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Beauty And The Beast.
Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts belongs to Square-Enix/Squaresoft.
Beauty And The Beast belongs to Jean Cocteau & The Walt Disney Company.

Nice crossover! Though if Cloud was the Beast, then that would make Sephiroth Gaston! *lol*

You have good attention to detail, but Looking through your gallery, i can blatantly tell when you used a referance and when you did not.
Its never a bad thing to use referances to ensure realistic outcomes
although i can tell this was done in colored pencils ( which can be a hard medium for shading) i can tell you really just refered back to your b/w shading from your older comic style pieces.
I would suggest softer shading with MANY more shades. learning to color with colored pencils can be a beotch. but once you got it, you got it.
play around with it a bit and see where it brings you :3
try using a harder line along the edges then gently fading inwards with softer strokes. that generally puts forth a great effect :3
also dont be afraid to use black in shading.
sorry just trying to help :3
