Those Old Memories ~

Ronyx memories stretch far, far back into the past, with many fanfictions occurring between the very first time I fell in love with that red hair and those adorable freckles, ALL the moments of which I have now brought together in one place.
This isn’t just Ron I’m including in this; appropriately, it also includes Rupert Grint, the one who I love REALLY, more than anyone, even Hermione

These are not just written by myself, oh no, some are written by friends alike! I’ll mark these with a * at the beginning as well as the title of the fiction, to show just how many people care about Ronyx and why it can NEVER be broken…

There’s even more than this but I can’t find the documents they were contained in! Old Hogwarts fanfics, lost forever! So many quality Ronyx quotes, disappeared in hard drive space! ;A;

Harry Potter and the Asshole Title Character

“While you lot are swanning off to your fancy Quidditch practice,” Onyx huffed, “me and Ron get peace and quiet in the Gryffindor Common Room. And before you say anything, we only help each other with homework and talk,” Onyx went on quickly, as though she may had blurted a little white lie. “And when he offers me a Honeydukes chocolate, he lets me take more than one from the packet!”

Harry Potter and the New Arrival

“You were really good at that,” Onyx threw back. “Why do you think I sat next to you instead of Ron that lesson?” She smiled bleakly and leaned on Ron’s shoulder. “I’ll sit with you next lesson, Ron, honest…”
He shrugged in reassurance that it was fine, then lovingly played with her hair while she lay on him. Sure, Onyx was heavy, but Ron thought the shoulder pain was totally worth the time spent with his body touching Onyx’s.

“Hey!” Ron, who was looking for Onyx, waved a paw. “There you are! I’ve been looking for you everywhere! Bloody hell, how much have you eaten?”
“Not enough,” Onyx said bluntly, and snatching the bag of Wizard Crunch of Olivia, she nodded to her friend and said, “Just think about it.” Then she walked off with Ron.
“So,” Ron said in a concerning voice, “are you okay?”
“Fine, really,” Onyx said, finishing off her last bag of Wizard Crunch and throwing the wrapper into the fireplace.
“Just, Olivia was right on the train. You do seem a bit tense.”
“Oh, it doesn’t matter. I’ve already explained why, I don’t think I should be worried. After all, Hermione said it’s just a conspiracy theory -“
“- and Hermione knows everything.”
“Exactly.” Onyx gave Ron a look, then said, “You don’t have any food, do you?”
“More? Really? You’re going all out.”
“Better believe it.”
Ron laughed, a sound that could always cheer Onyx up, even in the most bleak of times.
“No, seriously,” Onyx said, her eyebrows raising and a smirk appearing on her face. “You love me, right?”
“There’s only one way to get at you, and I know your weakness,” Ron grinned. “The way to your heart is through your stomach.”
“Oh, Ron…”

I’m A Student, Get Me Out of Here! (Estella Written)*

“Onyx, Onyx? ONYX!” Olivia screeched, causing a few more heads to turn, she nudged Onyx so hard Onyx dropped all the sausage rolls she was scoffing, Onyx turned just in time to see a certain Rupert Grint walk into the room, the hallway flashed like a disco with all the paparazzi. She forgot about the rolls and walked straight towards him.
“Hi” Beamed Onyx, she looked as if all the wonders she had ever dreamed of, had all happened in the space of a few moments.
“Hey there” he replied then took a moment to actually notice who was stood before him. She’s kinda cute he thought to himself with a smile.

I’m a Student, Get Me Out of Here!

Back down in camp, Onyx sat cross-legged on the floor, staring into the embers of the burning fire, when Rupert tapped her on the back and said, “What are you doing down here, all alone?”
“Um… I don’t really know, to be honest. Uh… fire-staring?” Onyx felt herself going red with embarrassment and stupidity.
“Fire-staring?” he said with a small laugh, sitting down next to her. “Bit of a lazy sport, isn’t it?”
“I’m a lazy person, I suppose.”
“Hey there!” Olivia plonked herself down in-between Onyx and Rupert, grinning.
“Liv…” Onyx said, rolling her eyes.
“Hey, here’s the thing,” Olivia said, grinning from ear to ear. Onyx sighed, face-palmed and didn’t come out of it for a while. “Saw you two talking, and I think you’d be an amazing couple, right? Forget Emma, Rupert, this girl here has a poster of you under her pillow.”
“Liv!”
“And,” she carried on, to Onyx’s embarrassment, “she saw that cat on your t-shirt on telly, and it looks exactly like her cat. Wear it more often.” Olivia then put a hand on his shoulder and turned all fake business-like. “Now, if you do consider taking her to be your bride -“
“Liv…”
“- there’s one thing to remember - the way to her heart is through her stomach. Give her food here, she’ll love ya even more than she already does. It worked with Arran -“
“Olivia! No!”
“- and it should work with you. See ya, Onyx!” And with that, Olivia stood up and walked away.
“Is she joking about the poster?” Rupert asked her, looking rather charmed.
“Uh, yes,” Onyx replied with a sweet smile, “She was wrong… I have two posters of you under my pillow,” she grinned meekly. “I could even maybe call myself your biggest fan…”

Onyx noticed this and went all shy, she said she needed the toilette and disappeared, a moment later and so did Rupert.
“OOo, I wonder where Onyx and Rupert have gone!” Laughed Cloud.
Onyx was walking round the corner in Rupert's arms, she couldn't of looked happier, they were laughing about some unknown joke,
“Isn't today beautiful?” Rupert wondered aloud, Onyx agreed, and upon seeing her friends faces she questioned,
“What!” The others shifted about a bit, the answer was obvious but none of them seemed to want to say it,
“Oh!” She thought “What, me and him?” They nodded, Tom laughed and Rupert gave him the evils,
“Well, he asked while I was in the loo, well not actually in the loo because that would just be perving!”
“Onyx, I think we get the picture!” Estella laughed, that day just seemed to be full of laughs,
“Right, yeah...sorry” Onyx blushed as Rupert tightened his grip round her waist.

A Merry Ronyx Christmas*

"W-well," Onyx started quietly, kneeling down in front of her friend, "ladies first, so..." She sheepishly slid the soft package to Ron's knees, smiling sweetly to him. Ron grinned and scooped it up, tearing the Quidditch paper apart and revealing the specially made scarf. Red and tan, the R-heart-O in gold lettering. Ron slowly grew a huge smile on his face as he admired the scarf.
"I-it's...beautiful Onyx," He said, Onyx squealing happily as he wrapped it around his neck, "I'll wear it all the time!"
"Th-thank you Ron," Onyx smiled happily, a tear in her eye. Her fear was destroyed.
"Your turn now," Ron smiled, sliding the lightning bolt-patterned box to her, "I think you'll like 'em!"
Them? Onyx grinned excitedly and started tearing through the paper, revealing a blank white box. Head tilted, she opened it, and her jaw dropped instantly. Inside the box was pile after pile of Rice Crispy treats, layered with dark chocolate and shaped like lightning bolts.
"I saw them and thought you'd love them, so," Ron smiled, rubbing the back of his head. Onyx just stared at them, then pounced on top of Ron, purring.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!!" Onyx squealed, loud enough to make every Gryffindor in the room look their direction, then back to their business.
"I-it's ok...thank you too," Ron grunted under the heavy cat girl who was nuzzling her cheek on his.

The Defeat of Dark Chatty and Lord Voldemort*

While watching Harry cast numerous spells towards the roof, Onyx checked her left where Ron looked as if he had been injured. When his eyes found her, he saw her eyes already staring at him. They maintained the eye contact for several seconds, and more than ever they both knew that something could happen between them. If they ever had the chance. Ron nodded slightly, and Onyx pressed her lips into a nervous smile.

Ronyx - The Beginning

“I love you too Onyx!” Ron suddenly announced rather loudly, so a lot of the first years playing Gobstones in the courtyard turned their heads. Then, completely by surprise, nearly sweeping even big Onyx off her feet, Ron wrapped his arms around her and planted a huge kiss on her muzzle. Onyx almost passed out. She did the same, awing at what really was happening here as the scene from out of the sheltered bridge matched the moment perfectly. They stood, tails entwined, held together in a loving hug on the bridge for the whole half hour, and come the bells that usually announced Potions class for the sixth years after break, Ron and Onyx were not downhearted for once, for they knew they could get through an hour of Potions…
So long as they had each other, they could now do anything, and no greasy-haired, hook-nosed teacher was going to stop them.
