Lost and Alone
Spike sat near the waters edge at the Castle Clockwork, tears rolling down his face. Timekeeper watched as the young dragon hugged the even younger Frostbite close. Spike and Frostbite were the sole survivors of the destruction of their village and Timekeeper sighed
"Chronicler, why did you bring them here?" Chronicler looked up and said
"I wasnt just going to leave them in the ruins of that village. besides there are a few things you should know. Spike is a born shadowling, he never has to chose a side, and he has a crystal dragon living in him." Timekeeper looked up
"We must remove it before it kills him!" Chronicler laughs
"No, it isnt acting as a parasite, they are symbiotes, one cant live without the other and they know it." Timekeeper looked interested in this and as he looked out a ripple formed on the water and then a mermaid pulled herself up on the rocks and began talking to Spike.
"Why do you cry young dragon?" Spike wiped his eyes
"Our village is gone, destroyed, all of it, only we survived." the mermaid comforted Spike, pulling him and Frostbite close and said
"Well i you want to talk about it, im here." Spike looked up
"Thanks, who are you?"
"Im Sirenia, queen of the Sirens." Spike held out a hand
"Spike, spike bladesharp, and this is my companion, Frostbite."
