VENT: Shadow's Insatiable Evil

Well, I think I really needed to draw this. I feel much better now that I've drawn something dark

This is based on a dream I had, mixed with 'The Warlock's Hairy Heart', from J.K. Rowling's The Tales of Beetle The Bard.
In my dream, Shadow ate Tikal in a really realistic and gruesome way.
I've always been morbidly curious and attracted to the idea of Shadow being slightly cannibalistic, especially with those who show him love. In my mind, when something confuses Shadow or reminds him of horrible events (especially emotions), he wants to rid himself of the thing, but keep it at the same time. What better way than to simply eat whatever is confusing him?

Anyway, when I first read 'The Tales of Beetle the Bard', The Warlock's Hairy Heart immediately made me think of Shadow and Tikal, and that dream I had. So, I wanted to do a piece of art with Shadow as that crazy Warlock, and Tikal as the fair maiden. Who else has such a pure heart but the only pacifist in the whole series?
