The Orthodontist Who Could Not Run (Writing Assignment)
Long ago, there was an orthodontist. He was very successful, but he had one quirk that made him stand out from others: he could not run. His legs were horribly frail and he could only limp from one place to another. One day, he met a fortune-teller who warned him that the next day, he would earn one skill and lose another. The orthodontist was ecstatic. Would he finally be able to run?
The next morning, the orthodontist woke up. He immediately hopped out of bed and, for the first time ever, he ran. A smile curled on his face before he ran face-first into a wall. He could no longer see.
