I have something of a soft spot for NPCs. Particularly Final Fantasy VII's. And more specifically, Jessie. She blows stuff up. I like exploding stuff. :3 I posted the pencils up earlier, but I finally sat down to color. (At least the character art, which was inked by a buddy of mine, Derrick DuPlissey. Personally I thought Blank was my favorite NPC in the Final Fantasy Series (unless Leo counts, but you play as him for a bit..so i guess it doesn't)

Jessie rules. To tell the truth, I was more saddened by her untimely end than Aerith's death. I rather like the coloring, but then again, I like my own line art, even though I'm always told it looks like crap!

Nobody ever thinks of the poor NPCs. This pic is a fave for various reasons, including thr fantastic skill of it all, and, of course, sympathy for Jessie, who was, much like every other woman in FFVII, smitten by Cloud's boyish and slightly camp good looks.
