Shimmering Forest-2009
Quiet light splinters into the liquefied darkness.
Cutting with color, capping with he’s peace.
Into the thick of its deep leaning understanding
Of its power ever transforming
Gods loving works shimmering within our soul
Pleases himself holding with his might showing
Us all is in he’s order, it’s not us in control.
Soothing reaching, grace He’s wonder
Beauty bondless, makes all, in all, covers and uncovers,
No place to dark, he’s word saturates, brightens
In our nights he forms us. He’s making
beyond comprehending, rest test in he’s hands
Sweet hope, trust in him flowing comprehension
Rushing over us, when we can’t yet see.
The master crafter walks with us though
All, knows us, lights in the clay like
making of us, he’s vessels he’s magnificent
Presence in us and in control.
Time and light dances like the wind.
Kisses a leaf as it bows, to the lord
Of power for renewal
So hold fast to him. Hold he’s name up
even in our weakness., aw; the proof of
His endless love…
Glory in all he has and will do
He is worthy! In Christ we are lifted up
And in the morning of his love
Surrounded in his rest and light
