FakeHop

So this was interesting. I'm getting involved with some hip hop artists in Holyoke. Fun fact: my introduction into the music making world was me endeavoring to make Hip Hop beats. I did the soundclick thing and everything. I got out of it because I hate the modern hip hop community.

However I dig these guys im working with in holyoke. Thing is tho, I dont have any of my old and large library of beats, loops, breaks, and what not. And Superior Drummer sounds too clean. So what do I do?

I made all these super clean good quality loops and beats, for this song. Everything you're hearing in it I made from scratch and then beat to hell to make it sound like it came off a 30 year old vinyl to give it that "hip hop" feal.

hence: fakehop. I'm surprised and I feel a little ridiculous that it worked so well.
