I've never use gimp before, but I have heard about it. This is an interesting piece. The flames the skull and the gray patterned background. Very good choice having the skull on the right side and the flames moving/burning towards the left. It add movement to the piece, and make it interesting to the eye.
Would I be correct in guessing that you recolored stock skull?
