After coming across someone earlier who posted a pic without knowing exactly what 'tasteful nudity' is, I had to draw this. Maybe I can use it as a referrence when I explain it. Tasteful nudity, by MOST cases, is a naked body, with the right areas gracefully blocked. Some tasteful nudity has exposed breasts, sometimes lower, but never in a sexually arousing pose.
So yeah, I sketched this out to help my battles. It's nothing special, but it gets the job done.

A very nice sketch, I can understand the point you're trying to make as well. Butas I've said to other people it will be what the Sheezy staff deems as tasteful that matters. I only hope they're not too strict.

I do believe if you read through that huge arguement thread about it, CC and Grave made mention that topless is fine, as long as the nipples don't show. You know, like furry breasts? I don't have the patience to re-read through the posts to find it.
Nippleless art has always been acceptable. I truly doubt clits and pusses need to be explained. That's an automatic no-no.

I completely agree. Though people would still freak out if I posted up tasteful nudity.
Since I, in most cases, put clothes on my characters... o_O
But I'd like to ask... Do you think I'll get into trouble for posting up art of one of my characters who is completely naked? He doesn't have any genitals, of course (I can't/won't draw penises anyways) but I'm still a little wary...
Shadette Says:
I'd figure, no nipples, no organs, non-sexual - okay. Yanno? I mean if charries were humping and such, that'd be bad too.
!!!!
Sonic's naked, but has nothing showing. He's a great example of tasteful nude!

*sigh* i wonder why people care so much about this kind of stuff...
art is art, as long as it isn't bluntly porn...
Shadette Says:
Eh? You think I'm taking this too far?
UltimateCreatureII Says:
o.o nice, and you don't see anything so there's nothing for SA to complain about
Sydak Says:
Well, you certainly did a great job. ^^ I seriously cannot stand when people accuse the body of being a 'thing' of lust, when it really is a symbol of beauty. You did a perfect job at putting that thought into this picture, as well as it being just so good.
