I really like all the various textures you have floating around in this; everything feels very grungy and rusted. That's a waterfall behind him, right? It could use a dusting of spray to really emphasize how fast and powerfully it's rushing down.
I love how stylized this whole thing is- very painterly and unique. I think my favorite thing is actually the detail of the chains he's got dangling between his fingers, holding the gears(?). That, and the subtle detail of his gloves. Beautiful.
Well first off I noticed the colors, which I like very much all the browns, yellows and copper. The textures are very enjoyable, from the soft water and light to the hard stone speckles and dead spindly trees. Also the details are incredible. Even though there is so many warm colors this piece feels so cold. The ruined landscape is very forlorn, as well as the hand holding the chains with the cogs (I saw the details about thous from what you said to elle.) with Marcus look at them. I love seeing this dramatic piece, and also love the stylized style.
I haven't played the games, but I've heard lots of good things about them.
