The Four Alice Chapter.3 Blood red Wonderland

“So how exactly are we going to get to this wonderland place?” Alexzander asked. “After all they’re up in the sky," Alexzander pointed to the parts of the sky that showed different lands.
“They’re not actually in the sky, only their images are.”
“Alright, but that doesn’t answer my question of how we’re going to get there,” Alexzander said.
“You’ll see, just be patient,” Cainon said and continued to walk.
“I’m patient,” Alexzander pouted. Cainon made a pfft noise and stopped walking once they had reached a fountain with red water flowing out of it. “What’s this?”
“The gate,” Cainon said. Ticking came from the clock as it swayed from side to side; it was like what happened when the entrance to the main Core opened. This time the fountain disappeared and an actual gate took its place. The gate was blood red with dead roses entwined in it.
“Hey it’s an actual entrance this time,” Alexzander said.
“Yes, so now you don’t need to be hesitant,” Cainon said before he walked though the gate, Alexzander following close behind.

The Blood red Wonderland fit its name, everything was dead and a red color, only the path was different, it was grey. Dead tree roots stuck up everywhere with the same dead roses that were on the gate wrapped around them. The trees were dead and burned and Alexzander could hear people screaming in pain in the distance, which caused his stomach to turn.
“W-Why are we here exactly?” Alexzander asked, he didn’t want to be in this place.
“You want to get out of this world, yes?”
“Yes,” Alexzander replied.
“Then you must kill four Alice to get to the Snow White Alice,” Cainon informed him.
“Who is this Snow White Alice, exactly?”
“He is the most important person in this entire world, you saw him in that dream you had yesterday.”
The dream, Alexzander thought. It all came back to him, the boy with the white hair, the one who looked exactly like him. He’s the Snow White Alice.
“He’s real!?!”
“Very much so,” Cainon said. “This way now, we must hurry.”
“You’re always in such a rush Cainon, why?” Alexzander asked the rabbit.
“You ask too many questions just do as I say!” Cainon snapped at him.
“Alright, sorry,” the two continued to walk, but Alexzander stopped when he saw a black figure. When he looked to his right, nothing was there, but he could have sworn he saw something. Alexzander knew he shouldn’t, but he walked over to the dead tree root, long dead shoots of a strange plant Alexzander had never seen bent over it. When he checked the small area and found nothing he stood back up. He was about to leave when a black sludge like form darted out from the safety of the shoots and latched onto his arm. The sludge moved in a twitchy manner going under his gloved hand and under his coat and sleeve. It clung to him burrowing into his skin. The pain was unbearable and it felt like it was sucking the life from him. Alexzander’s eyes rolled into the back of his head so only the white of his eyes were showing. The sludge began to fade into his arm causing more pain. Alexzander fell to his knees thousands of images flashing through his head.
“Are you alright?”
“I-I think so, what was that?” Alexzander asked.
“Let me see,” Cainon said going closer to Alexzander. “It was an Ace.”
“An Ace, what’s that?”
“An Ace is a special being that only exists in the Wonderland’s along with Trumps and Jacks. Trumps, Jacks, and Ace’s are commonly used by Alice. Trumps are the weakest, Ace’s are the strongest. The Ace you have is called The Mad Hatter. He’s very powerful,” Cainon said. Alexzander looked down at his jacket to see a golden pin of a hat, The Mad Hatter. “Now that he’s attached to you he’ll protect you.”
“Black sludge is going to protect me?”
“Trumps, Jacks, and Ace’s all get their true form when the latch themselves onto someone, enough explaining we must go.” Alexzander got up and swayed a little. After the world stopped spinning he followed Cainon down the grey road.
Alexzander didn’t know how long they had been walking, but it seemed like forever, where was this Alice? Alexzander sighed again, his feet were killing him. He bumped into Cainon who had suddenly stopped in the middle of the path. Alexzander followed Cainon’s gaze and saw a message written in blood, it read don’t trust the rabbit.
“Is this referring to you?”
“No, there are many rabbits in this world.” Alexzander and Cainon were about to head off again when two people jumped out from behind two large tree roots. The man moved with superhuman speed towards Alexzander and was about to attack him when something registered in his eyes that made him fall back.
“Luca, what are you doing!?!” the woman screamed, when she looked at Alexzander she knew why he had retreated. She angrily withdrew her sword from its sheath and dashed towards Alexzander.
“Don’t!” Luca yelled at her. Luca was too late in his command. The sword pierced Alexander’s chest. “NO!” The last thing Alexzander say before he fell was the man, Luca, running towards them.
