OC tourney part 2/2
OC TOURNAMENT: ROUND ONE.
Siren Vs. Miss Cairnaghn Caledonia (part TWO of TWO)
Arena: Snowy Place
PREVIOUSLY:
"Oh? so you're my opponent?" A female voice timidly said from behind her.
Siren turned and saw Miss Cairnaghn Caledonia, she was a little shorter than
Siren, and Siren could tell she wasn't a physical fighter, so she probably
used some form of ranged combat.
"Yeah," Siren said, "I guess I am."
"Fighting isn't very lady-like, but I'll try my best" the girl said.
"Heh, then let's get stared."
AND NOW: The fight.
Siren cracked her knuckles to loosen them up. "I don't expect this fight to
last for more than five minutes, so I do hope that you can exceed my
expectations." Siren said, limbering up.
"Like I said," Cairnaghn said, with a sly gin, "fighting isn't very
lady-like, so I'll let my friend here take the spotlight." The girl held up
a playing card, the joker.
"What, you're going to throw cards at me?" Siren chuckled. "What ever would
I do if I got a paper cut? Siren's jeering was short-lived as Cairnaghn
began to mutter some soft incantation and threw the card to the ground
before her.
"Come forth my bodyguard." Cairnaghn said, as a rather largely built man
rose from the spot where the card lay.
"That's new." Siren said as she gawked at the joker-man.
Cairnagh giggled and threw her hat in the air. Again, she muttered a soft
incantation and the hat began to grown and envelop her. "okay, Nones. Do as
you please." she said, with a coy smile. The lumbering man took a step
toward siren before jabbing his fist right at her. Siren jumped back to
avoin the blow, but the snowy terrain made it slippery.
"This is going to get annoying fast" Siren muttered to herself. She never
really did like the snow. She admired it as it was falling it was a tranquil
sight to see. It brought out a calmess she really didn't like others seeing.
"I'd better get this lummox out of the way quickly." Again, the man took a
step toward siren, his earrings glistening slightly in the dim sunlight, and
began unleashing a barrage of swings. With the snowy field, it was hard for
siren to dodge and not fall over. She managed to avoid ten hits before the
Bodyguard landed a hit square in her stomach.
****
The wind was knocked out of Siren. She skidded back a few feet from the raw
power behind the man's punch.
I wasn't really expecting a proxy to be so
damned strong. Siren thought. "I must say I'm impressed. usually people
need to work harder to so much as graze my face," she spat out some blood,
"Heh, I guess this just mean I need to get a bit more serious." Crouching
closer to the ground, Siren built up power in her legs for a dash.
Dashing was something Siren could be proud of. It was a technique not just
for her legs, but for her whole body. When in Dash mode, Siren took on a
more feral appearance. Her Wings would unfurl and her eyes would change
color. Her Nails would become like claws and her ears and hair would become
longer. Her hair also got darker in color.
Cairnaghn was confused, This girl who didn't look human certainly couldn't
be. She had wings. Bat-like ears and a tail. And as the girl crouched, all
these things made themselves very clear. "W-what are you?" Cairnaghn
shouted.
"Me?" Siren chuckled without looking up. "Why, I am the one who will haunt
your nightmares for eternity." Sirel looked up, and her piercing stare
paralyzed Cairnaghn.
I-I can't move, she thought,
this is bad. Every ounce of
energy in her being screamed for her to move, but her body wouldn't respond.
"N-NONES!!!" she shouted. "NONES, I CAN'T MOVE!"
"M'LADY!" Nones shouted. He then turned to face Siren. "Wretch. What have
you done?!?" He raised his fist to strike her, but as he brought it down,
Siren seemed to blur out of his eyesight. She vanished. His fist stuck the
ground and all the snow that had piled up in that spot, and in a five foot
radius, was blasted in all directions.
"Ooh, that was some punch," Siren's voice echoed from somewhere, "Had I not
entered Dash Mode, I would have lost the match. That last punch really hurt
youk know. Had you been my opponent, I would probably killed you for it,
but..." Siren walked out from behind Cairnaghn's force field. "..You aren't.
She is." Siren said pointing to Cairnaghn.
Nones grinned. "Filthy Cur, there is nothing you can do to stop from dying
for what you did to Lady Cairnaghn." He rose to a standing position.
"besides, there is also nothing you can do to hurt her."
"Oh?" Siren cackled and balled her right hand into a fist.
Cairnaghn could turn her head, and could literally see Sirens skin hardening
and tightening around the bones in her fist. "N-no. you couldn't possibly-
there's no way that this shield can be broken." she said nervously.
"Steel Skin: Dash Fist." Siren muttered as she threw her steel-like punch at
the barrier. The very force alone was enough to make Nones stagger back, and
the evergreens to drop their snow and bend away. An ear-tingling
CRACK echoed through the snoy mountain, as Cairnaghn's barrier
crumbled to a thousand pieces.
Cairnaghn was petrified. Not losing a step, Siren muttered, "Stone tail: Das
whip," as her tail became like stone and slammed into Cairnaghn, propelling
her back. Nones tried catching her, but the sheer force of being hit, caused
him to be nothing more than an air mattress for someone jumping from a
skyscraper. Both he and Cairnaghn went flying into, and rather through, a
tree. The splinters flew as Cairnaghn and her proxy crashed to the ground,
leaving an exposed path of grass where they skidded.
"M-M'lady...." Nones struggled to say, "are you okay?"
".....N-Nones." Cairnaghn said, coughing up blood.
"Yes M'lady?"
Cairnaghn coughed up more blood. "K-kill her."
"With pleasure." Nones managed to rise, and set Cairnaghn against a boulder,
so he could grab what he needed.
"I'm impressed." Siren said. "not many people live through that." Siren
laughed. "I guess I'll have to finish this off now. Death Talons: Dash
Claws.." Siren's hands began to become greusome claws, which could cut the
very air itself. "Time to die!" She said running toward Cairnaghn.
Nones found what he was looking for in his bag. a Pistol. More specifically,
a .45 revolver. Quite the punch it packed. Nones grinned.
This is the
end, Demon. he thought. Holding the gun out, he dashed into Siren's
path.
Siren realized what she was running into. she tried stopping, but the snow
made it impossible to get proper traction. Using her wings, she tried aiding
her stop. Still it would be to no avail, if he didn't whink quick. Nones and
Cairnaghn Grinned equally and said, "You've died." Nones Pulled the trigger.
***
It all happened in a split second. The gunshot echoed through the area.
Siren's head was flying back. Everythign seemed to move in slow motion. The
ringing in her ears and the
ba-dump, ba-dump of her heartbeat were
the only things she could really hear.
Ulimate Dash: Reaction.
This was the most powerful of her skills. It used up a hefty amount of
energy, but it would cause her adreanal glands to secrete enough adrenalin
to literally slow down time for her. She could even dodge bullets.
As time returned to its normal flow, she did a back flip, landing on her
hands, and pushed herself back up onto her feet. Dashing, she ran her right
claws through Nones' abdomen.
Full 360: ten point grab. Siren spun
around once to gain momentum, and jammed all ten of her fingers into Nones.
"RRRAAAHHH!!!" she screamed, lifting him and throwing him into Cairnaghn.
Bullseye. The sheer force alone caused the boulder Cairnaghn was resing on
to crack.
Panting, Siren reverted back to her normal form. The stress that Dash Mode
put on her, caused her to cough up a lot of blood.
But It was over........She won.
