Super Mario Mystery Dungeon Chapter 10

(Mario, Luigi and Minnie are seen trudging across a snowy plain.)

Narrator Bit: P-p-p-previously on “Super Mario Mystery Dungeon,” the Mario B-b-b-bros were duking-g-g it out with K-k-k-king Boomer, b-b-b-b-but a strong earthquake c-c-c-caused an abrupt end to the fight. Mario, Luigi and Minnie came close to f-f-falling to their doom b-b-b-but a Darkrai sucked them int-t-t-to an interdimensional p-p-p-portal. M-m-m-much to our heroes dismay, the portal lead our heroes into the frozen wasteland that we see them wandering in now.

Mario: Luigi, are-a you hearing-a that strange guy’s voice again?

Luigi: Y-y-y-y-yeah…

Princess Minnie (wrapping her ears around the Mario Bros): Don’t worry guys, I’m sure that we’ll find shelter soon…

Luigi: Mama Mia… We’ve-a been wandering in-the snow for weeks…

(There’s a blue flash of light in the distance. Luigi forcefully blinks his at the light, yet Mario and Minnie didn’t notice it at all. Then what appears to be Princess Lily in a snow coat is seen standing in the distance.)

Princess Lily: Luigi?! Hey, Luigi! Is that you over there!?!

Luigi: Huh? Lily, what are-a you doing here!?

Princess Lily: I’m here with a Rescue Team! They’re just a few feet up ahead, follow me!

Luigi: Okie-dokie! Come on guys! Princess Lily said that there’s a Rescue Team nearby here to-a save us!

(Luigi scampers off towards Lily.)

Mario and Minnie: Wait, Luigi, that not-!

(As Luigi gets closer to Lily, it is revealed that Lily is actually a mint green bodied Froslass with a Sneasel’s feather on her head.)

Narrator Bit: Oh-no! That Froslass must’ve Luigi under some sort of trance. He has no idea that he’s being lured into a trap.

Luigi (to the Froslass): Oh, Lily! I’m-a so glad that you could-a find us!

Froslass: As am I, darling…

(The Froslass wraps her arms around Luigi and opens her mouth wide; as if she were about to eat him.)

Princess Minnie’s Voice: Hey! Get away from him, you spook!

(A Shadow Ball is fired at the Froslass. The attack hits the Snow Land on the head, making her drop Luigi.)

Froslass: Hey! What just happened!?!

Mario’s Voice: Run-a for it, Luigi!

Princess Minnie’s Voice: That’s not Lily, it’s a Froslass!

Luigi: Huh? *turns to see the Froslass floating before him* WAAAAAARGH! A g-g-g-ghost!

(Luigi runs away from the Froslass.)

Froslass (to Luigi): You’re not getting away from me, you little morsel!

(The Froslass shoots an Ice Beam at Luigi, which freezes the Minun up to his waist. The Froslass closes in on Luigi, but Mario zaps her with a Thunderbolt.)

Mario: You keep away from my brother!

Froslass (to Mario): Oh, how charming! But that’s not going shrug me off, darling…

(Mario prepares to fire another Thunderbolt at the Froslass, but the Snow Land Pokémon bombards Mario with a Confuse Ray. In Mario’s state of confusion, he zaps Luigi with a Thunderbolt. While the attack wasn’t enough to damage Luigi that much, it broke him free from the ice he was trapped in. The Froslass moves in on Mario and she chomps down on his ears.)

Mario: YEEEEOOOOW!! *runs around in circles* Get it off! Get it off! Get it off! That’s-a not comfortable!

(Luigi zaps the Froslass with a Thunderbolt, shaking her off of Mario’s head. The Froslass prepares to fire at Luigi with an Ice Beam, but Princess Minnie knocks the Snow Land Pokémon out with a Shadow Ball attack.)

Princess Minnie (running past the Mario Bros): Let’s get out of here while we still can!

Mario & Luigi (running after Minnie): Wait-a for us!

Narrator Bit: And so, the Mario Bros chase after Minnie until all three of them reach an icy blue mansion.

Princess Minnie: Oh dear, what a strange place for a mansion to be in…

Mario (knocking on the mansion’s door): As-a long as its shelter.

(Minnie and Luigi cast worried looks at each other.)

Elderly Woman’s Voice: I’LL GET IT!!

(The door gets knocked down by a grayish-pink Blissey dressed in a maid’s outfit and has cloth-patch over where her heart would be. A Murkrow with gray locks of hair on the sides of his head and baggy eyes perches itself on the Blissey’s head.)

Blissey (to the Murkrow): Oh, Alfred, look at the poor frozen snow bunnies. Shall I let them come in for some hot cocoa and choccie biccies?

Alfred (to the Blissey): Hmmm… I suppose that it couldn’t hurt, Eggnes. It’s been a while since we’ve had guests to the Orajo Mansion.

Princess Minnie (sounding uncertain): Yes, we would love to come in. My friends and I have been wandering around in the snow for days.

Luigi (quietly to Minnie): Are you sure that-a we should go through with-a this?

Princess Minnie (quietly to Luigi): It may not be Seaking Palace, but it’s the only place for miles.

Eggnes: C’mon, you little bunnies what’re you waiting for? Come in out of the cold.

(Minnie and the Mario Bros. hesitantly walk inside.)

Narrator Bit: Could Minnie and Luigi’s suspicions be right? What horrific secrets could be lying with Orajo Mansion? Only those who see the next installment of “Super Mario Mystery Dungeon” will find out.
