This is a photo I took of a book I got for christmas from my uncle Richard. It's called The History of Film. He bought it from the discount bin at Chapters because it was cheap and he didn't want to have to get me something valuable or even something I was interested in. Big suprise seeing as that side of my family outcast me since I was old enough to speak. This brought me great satisfaction, enjoy.

that sounds like my family, every one on my mom's side of the family left me, and now hate me and ignore me

Meghatron Says:

Alas. Fire is pretty, but I would have giggled if it has been Farenheit 451.

Kaydin Says:

Haha. Rock on!

I hate people like that, so I get them stupid stuff in return.

You know, like a really cheap $3 DVD for someone with no DVD player. A $5 gift certificate for some super expensive, high-priced store. A box of cereal. Maybe even a gift wrapped free AOL CD - or a box of them.

Haha, see next year now you have something to give that uncle - this picture.

Btw, nice capture

but...but...but...issa book! ;_; i know where you're coming from...it's just always sad to see any book burn.

rag Says:

i like this. and fire is alway good. my father is somewhat like your uncle

fawx Says:

That's funny
my parents are divorced, my moms side of the family are so fun loving, simple and sincere, I absolutely adore my time with any of them
my dad's new wife's family's very rich, and very severe... The tension when most of them are around is overwhelming... so I hide out when we are in the same area together... and now they've labled me as a hermitcrab
its amazing what a difference social class can bring...on one side people who love and appreciate everything, who laugh and have fun and don't care what others think, and on the other side, well carved stone.

For a second there I thought that was the Bible. Now that would have been one hell of a statement. The photo still rocks, and I can sympathize with your motives. My relatives never even bother to find out what it is I would like. They just give me money. This past January my aunt gave me 15 bucks. Now THAT deserved a slap. Anywho, I don't fit in with most of my relatives. They don't seem to care I exist, but then when I meet their apathy with some of my own, I'm the one who's stuck up. That's my mom's side. Then my dad's side is made up of snobby, slutty, crack-head devil worshippers who can't stay the fuck out of juvi/prison/rehab so they're not even allowed to be within 100 yards of me. So yeah, I see where you're coming from.
