Those of you who're watching me for some time already could get a slight déjà vu feeling from this picture.
This is a remake from a gift-picture from 2007. (The moon is the same as I used back then, the landscape is completely re-rendered.)
The light was better on the original, but I personally think this one is better if you look at the complete picture. (But that probably depends on which style you like more.
)
I tried to remake this picture because I felt like making something in Terragen again, but I didn't know what I should do... (And because this is one of my favourite pictures, I choose it. [I believe the original also hit the FP on Sheezy for a short amount of time, but I never saw it myself...
])
Anyway, I hope you like it and if you still remember the original, please tell me which one you think is better! ^^

I like the older one better - it has a more pleasing balance, however I think it would have benefited from the haze you added to this picture. It seems too clear for a night with a red moon.
Usually a red moon appears when there's a big fire, and so the sky is a bit hazy.

Though I do think it could use a bit more contrast (not to make it more realistic, just to make it.. Y' know.. *does girlish giggle* Pretty!
And I'm missing something like a small glow around the moon to really give the feeling there's light coming off it
