He stood before the weather beaten stone, staring intently at the faded words. He frowned as he closed his eyes, letting his thoughts drift back to the past, none of which had ever been pleasant.
"It's only now that I learn your body was never recovered...i dread to think what that might imply," he whispered, his gaze resting once more on the stone, his fists clenched at his sides.
He let out a soft laugh, shaking his head before looking skyward. "Whatever the future holds, i pray the light is with you...wherever you are..."
He turned retrieving his axe that was leaning against a near by tree before moving down the beaten path, his eyes closed halfway as he sheathed the weapon on his back.

Just a little something I threw together in about an hour or so. This is a song that fits my little Paladin Ryuuza from wow. As to who he's referring to...well, I'll leave that to your imagination. Only those who have met and know my Paladin's story will have any inkling (and you all know who you are.) of what could possibly be going on.
