Another "Daily" Sketch. Two, hurray! Anyway, I've done a lot of doodles of non-human characters as human, to play around with traits and details and whatnot. I call them "Unanthros". Basically no tails, ears, horns, etc. That's just transferring the traits, not translating them. It's a fun challenge. Nothing groundbreaking, but these designs were fun and I learned stuff.
So yeah. If you can't guess, they're Absol, Cubone, Magnemite, and Charmander.
- I was going for a gothy look for the Absol, but gave up 'cause you can't do that with white. Also the head/hair thingy is on the wrong side of her head. And the eyes are the wrong color. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR AND DON'T USE REFS.
- Cubone is probably my favorite Pokemon, so I was ecstatic that my test result assigned me that one. Also, I have no idea how human Cubone sees with that skull on his face. I was going for a mysterious swordsman kinda vibe, but again, it didn't translate well.
- Magnemite. Yeah, not much changed. I was gonna make it a humanoid robot, but I realized I suck at drawing humanoid robots. This one was my last and laziest one.
- Charmander. Spent the most time on her, mostly on deciding what friggin' hat to give her. The blue shorts don't fit, but there was too much orange, so I changed things up.
