A sketch from a little while back. I started with a random doodle and then it turned into an almost collage like image giving a portrait of Africa in the form of a godess lioness. The different elements of Africa are embodied in her form, ie pelts of various african animals, feathers, foliage, etc. The left side is cut off as I ran out of room on my paper.

I really need to get back into drawing Felines :) revamping my character Drakkena to give her the things I need to add :) the feathers on this girls head reminded me of Drakkena
with her Male Peacock feathers that are ontop of her head, bah I need to write up a profile on her again
and redraw her

Even though it started off as a doodle, nice idea. I like how you combined different (as you said) elements of Africa into one creature. The pencil work is fabulous...the realism is astonishing O__O Awesome job ^-^
