My sis her friend and myself went for a walk on a 4 mile trail in Minnesota (where I live) to view the beautiful fall colors and the wildlife. I came across three of these little snakes along the way, two I caught and one, my sister failed on catching. And don't worry we let them go of course. We found a very small one and some larger ones like this one. They can reach up to a foot long and they eat insects like my green snake I used to have. And they don't bite. he also has a little nick on his tail. Poor thing.

enjoy,

Yoake Ryuhi Says:

Aww, he's so cute and tiny. I see the nick on him. Poor thing, an animal must have gotten to him.

Awww so cute!! I never saw a wild snake when I lived there >_< I almost miss minnesota now >_> the leaves must be pretty right now... Louisiana doesn't get pretty leaves and the scenery is bland from where I'm at D: awe well! cute snake! i would have kept it

and check out the rusty colors on its scales

Dille Says:

I wish I had a wee, bug-eating snake for a pet. My mom would flip.

I love this picture, the colors of the snake's belly so totally go with the awesome red leaves. :> Winters must be rough up where you live tho.
