before you go a call me "racist" i gotta ponder and ask: is there any black characters in the harry potter books? obviously i haven't read them, and i just watch the films. i can only recall seeing one black kid in the movies.
so i take this as conclusive evidence that J. K. Rowling is a racist. just like J. R. R. Tolkien. there's like zero black people in lord of the rings, even the savages aren't black. those racist bastards!

The orcs in LoTR are black.
Just sayin'.
Phive Says:
Apparently black people aren't magical enough for fantasy things. Unless they involve them being mostly naked, kinda dirty looking having feathers on their head and a skull of some sort at the top of of their stick.
Knightmare Dreams Says:
Dean was black.
Sharpy Says:
From Wiki:
"Dean Thomas is a Gryffindor student in Harry's year who is described as "a Black boy even taller than Ron"."

My HP nerdom requires me to point out Dean Thomas, Lee Jordan, Angelina Johnson, Blaise Zabini, and Bane the Centaur off the top of my head.
Funny comic, though.
DemonRoni Says:
Kingsley Shacklebolt is black and pretty important

Hyde Corneast Says:
Okay, Dean wasn't black. But there was one black guy in the books. I just forget his name at the moment. I love this so much

Using unverified information as the scapegoat for a racist joke: accomplished. This is both lazy and tasteless in intent.
