After participating in a cosplay parade at
a local cartoon/anime festival here in Stavanger,
we all went to see the premiere of -Ponyo on the cliff
by the sea- from Studio Ghibli [YAY!]
An awesome new master piece from the greatest animators!
I liked it, alot!! so did everyone else who saw it, applause
at the opening,trough the movie and at the end.
A fantastic adventure for both kids and adults [YAY!]
So, what did I do after the film... drawed some fan art of course!
Here she is, the star of the movie, the little gold fish who wants to be a little human girl, Ponyo!
I have never done a Ghibli fan art before, so I tried
my best to make her look "ghiblish" (if it even exist such a word) xD

the flat colors are amazing but I think I like the bold contrasting lines the most!

i love this piccy but I gotta disagree with you on the movie
the plot really fell through in my opinion. i understand its meant to be a kids show, but the ending is so abrupt, and they never do truly face the "final challenge" that the sea king gets the viewer all worked up about.
while the animation was gorgeous, and ponyo and the boy were ADORABLe
Also, how happy do you think the boys gonna be in about 8 years when Ponyo is still just shouting words and he's being chased around 24/7 by a love-crazed pink haired teenage girl lol
