Yes, I did.
I wanted a small knitting project so I made my boyfriend a case for his Nintendo DS with a pocket for games. He says he only ever plays it when he travels so I thought he can stop keeping his games where he will lose them.
Also, he's going home for Thanksgiving next weekend where he will definitely show the case to his mom who will then think I am the coolest girlfriend ever. Ulterior motive, GO!
