HB mechanical pencil on sketchbook
This one was done purely for the fun of it. It's been a long time since I've drawn Ikuta Toma and it's also been a while since I've drawn a sketchy drawing like this (I like leaving pencil strokes). This was done in about an hour or two. Tried my best not to obsess too much on the detail work and likeness.
I wanted to try drawing with just an HB pencil, like I used to many years ago. I don't have as good a control on pencil pressure anymore. I got spoiled by using multiple pencils, especially my 4H and H pencils for skintones. I had to resort to using a blending stomp to get lighter tones since I couldn't use the harder pencils here.
