Dracula. Probably my favorite Dracula is the one depicted in the Castlevania series, when he looks older and more regal.
Long beard, long hair, long black cape, it just looks elegant and the fact that he's massive makes him extremely intimidating.
Something I've not been able to avoid is that, when I color large areas of black, I always get all those strokes and I'd much rather them being solid black, but I've still not found a way to not stink.
What is a man anyway?
A miserable little pile of secrets?

I had the same issue with blacks coming out patchy - either go over it again once the ink has dried sufficiently that you don't start tearing holes in the page or if you're impatient, touch it up on your computer.
Though this is a few months old, and you've probably already worked that out by now, so my advice is probably redundant.
